Remember those glorious days before the Covid-19 pandemic, when life felt normal? Remember how we all sat side-by-side at EverRest’s Peak Performance Training Center in beautiful Montgomery, AL?
Our members tell us the videos have been helpful. At the same time, though, we understand they may not be for everyone. Sometimes outside influences – like distractions and computer problems – make learning online tricky. For that, we have a couple of suggestions – how to get the most out of e-learning:
- Make time
First and foremost, carve out a short block of time weekly to listen and digest the information presented in the videos.
- Set up a learning environment
Whether you’re watching on your phone or your home computer, set up an area dedicated to EverRest training and learning.
- Reduce distractions
We realize it’s not feasible to eliminate all distractions (you have a business to run, after all), but aim to reduce interruptions for an hour or so a week to watch and learn.
- Take notes
Have a pen and paper handy to jot down important words or ideas. Use the information to jog your memory for key points.
- Ask questions
If you don’t understand some concepts, please contact us. We are here to help.
- Don’t procrastinate
Establish a time each week to watch the online training and don’t put it off. Keep yourself accountable.
With these tips in mind, go ahead and take a deep dive into our videos if you haven’t already. During the presentations, Hans Luquire, founder of EverRest Group and Hans Heating and Air, provides useful and encouraging guidance for navigating the HVAC business using EverRest Peak Performance Training.
In the first 20% Net Profit Training video, Luquire encouraged members to stay the course despite Covid-19 stumbling blocks. More than ever, HVAC business owners must be able to meet their competition head-on, he said.
“Follow The EverRest Group’s game plan. And that is to create your own demand,” Luquire said. “Your goal is to make it so fast, so trusting and so easy to buy from you that your customers and homeowners don’t want to take the time to call a competitor.”
Other videos in the webinar series feature Alex Viola, an EverRest regional director, with helpful information. Viola covers everything from the basics of the EverRest method to conversion rates to best practices for first impressions.
At the same time, the Training on Demand videos discuss EverRest fundamentals, including lead generation, equipment replacement and replacement pricing. Also included is information from our strategic partners and details about marketing practices.
